In the photo, she can be seen undergoing a nasal swab test while sporting a white graphic T-shirt from Sol Angeles that humorously reads, ‘Après Corona.’ The caption below the shirt expressed eagerness for the pandemic to come to an end. The sale of this shirt will contribute to fundraising for the World Health Organization, as the brand will donate a portion of its profits to support relief efforts. Gal completed her casual look with a pair of gray shorts, her hair pulled back into a bun, and a makeup-free face. She captioned the post with a mention of adjusting to the new normal of precautions on set while expressing the importance of staying safe.

Dwayne Johnson, in an Instagram post from January, revealed some details about the characters in the film. He described his character as ‘the world’s greatest tracker’ working for INTERPOL, while Gal’s character is ‘the world’s greatest art thief’ and Ryan’s character is ‘the world’s greatest conman.’ The plot revolves around the issuance of a RED NOTICE by Interpol to capture the world’s most wanted criminals, setting the stage for an international crime drama.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production on the film was initially put on hold in March but has since resumed with strict safety protocols in place. Originally set to be distributed by Universal Pictures, the film’s high budget led the studio to back out. As a result, Netflix stepped in to take over distribution, ensuring that fans will still get to see the star-studded film on screen.

On the first day of filming in January, Johnson excitedly posted a photo from the set of the Netflix movie, originally a Universal Pictures project. However, production had to pause due to the pandemic.
Gal is also set to star in the highly-anticipated Wonder Woman 1984, which has been delayed several times and is now scheduled for release on October 2. The film was actually completed months ahead of its original December 2019 release date but had to be pushed back to June 2020, then to August, and finally to October due to the pandemic.
In the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel, Gal will once again portray the iconic character, alongside Chris Pine who plays Steve Trevor. Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig are joining the cast as the villains, Maxwell Lord and Cheetah.
